Spanish
Folsom Middle School offers the following courses:
Spanish 1A (year-long class covering the first semester of high school Spanish 1) and is given to 7th graders.
Spanish 1B (year-long class covering the second semester of high school Spanish 1) and is given to 8th graders.
Because space is limited in Spanish classes, when registering students MUST also make another elective choice in the event these classes are full. Please mark your second choice with the number 2. Refer to our website for placement priority in Spanish.
Spanish students who play an instrument may elect to take PE during Zero Period (starts at 7:53 am; you must provide your own transportation.) Students will be placed in Music AND Spanish on a space available basis. Please indicate your 1st and 2nd choice (between Music and Spanish) in the event we are not able to place you into two electives. Music students who want to take Spanish 1B have priority placement in two electives.
If you want to enroll in Spanish 1B and you did not take Spanish at a school in the Folsom Cordova Unified School District, please contact the school to determine the level/class you are eligible to register for.
